Our Path to a QUALITY Hire

  • You will meet with a consultant to discuss and review your recruitment needs, resulting in a plan of action/proposal, same day.

  • Our sourcing team spends every day reaching out and adding only the very best candidate to our database. If we don’t have the perfect candidates to meet your requirements, we will find them by utilizing nationally recognized job boards and our established industry network.

  • Per mutually agreed upon requirements, a thorough background check is conducted and is inclusive of, but not exclusive to:

    • National Criminal Screening
    • County Criminal Screening
    • Sex Offender Database
    • Education
    • Employment
    • Minimum of three (3) verified professional references.
    • 5, 9 or 10-panel drug testing

  • This is the most vital part of our process.

    Quality Construction Certified ® .

    Your candidates will have been thoroughly vetted and must meet established prerequisites, including a personality assessment. Quality Construction Services firmly believes that only certain individuals are cut out for construction and can become an asset to your organization. The wrong hire can devastate your company’s culture and/or finances. Upon successful qualification, a candidate undergoes a proprietary three-part series of interviews.

  • Client Candidate Review

    Once we have obtained an agreed-upon number of viable candidates, you will receive profiles with an analysis, of each. You and your consultant will review and make final determinations.

    *Please note that salary and benefit negotiations are offered as part of your experience, In doing so, we are able to eliminate what can be a contentious and relationship-scarring interaction. Third-party salary/benefit negotiations have been proven to provide a more positive experience for the employer and future employees.

  • Once we have found the newest part of your team and negotiations have been completed, we don’t stop there. Your consultant will work with your onboarding requirements to ensure a smooth start. We stay engaged with each candidate until the start date. Preboarding has never been more complicated, but we will ensure your new team has everything needed by your team prior to Day 1.

Terms & Agreements

  • Some recruiters/firms provide Contingent Contracts. A Contingent Contract is paid by the client if and when a Client hires a candidate presented by the firm. However, this also means that the Client is one of many clients and may or may not be presented the "very best" candidate a recruiter/firm has to offer. In layman's terms, the best candidates go to whomever the most lucrative deal was made with, and thus no genuine commitment is made.

    Retained Contracts are offered by some agencies. However, more often than not fees are substantially higher (30-40 % PLUS Recruitment Fees) and the client is bound by a longer exclusive contract term(often a minimum term of 6 months).


    QCS provides a different, quality, recruitment service with guarantees.
    Quality Construction Services offers a hybrid agreement.
    Client Priority Contract aka a Contained Search Contract.

    You are assigned a recruiter whose sole responsibility is to dedicate their energy to finding your organization the very best with no hindrance or conflict of interest.

    Fees are lower and a commitment is made by both parties

    The retainer guarantees you up to six (6) of the best candidates available. Three candidates initially, and three additional in the event that you should not be satisfied.

    Hence, Satisfaction is guaranteed. To date, no client has had to exercise that guarantee, but I assure you that we go above and beyond.

    The difference is in our name.

    *Should you cancel our agreement prior to our starting the recruitment process you would be provided a full refund.

  • Quality Construction Services offer the best value for your hard-earned dollar. We offer substantial savings over any competitor, guaranteed, and are committed to transparency.

    The is an initial Commitment Cost. This amount initiates the search. The only other cost will be 5% of the annual salary of your teams newest addition.

    That’s it.

    Should you cancel our agreement prior to our starting the recruitment process, then you would be provided a full refund.

    No service, no fee.

    Should a partner need to cancel services after an agreement is made and recruitment services have started, the fee becomes non-refundable, but will be credited on the partners account for future use.

  • Do you offer recruitment or provide staffing for any type of business or industry?

    It’s in the name. Quality, not quantity.

    By focusing services solely on construction, QCS is better able to apply consultant expertise. Builders deserve a higher quality experience than a “one size fits all” staffing agency. Every project is unique, just like our industry.
    Oh, and we just really LOVE construction.
